Pentecost: The Dramatic Beginning
Acts 2:1-21
I. The Event: Wind, Fire and Spirit-empowered Speech (1-4)
II. The Response: Astonishment and Mocking (5-13)
III. The Explanation: God Has Poured Out His Spirit (14-21)
Do we believe that “every member is a minister”? Yes. But more than that we believe that “every member is a missionary on mission with God.” In a real sense a missionary is a "God Admirer" who is complelled to see others come to know and appreciate Him as they do. And those who know the most about God and who are most impacted by that personal knowledge are the most responsible and best equipped to tell of Him. Don’t let that intimidate you, let it motivate you. God will empower you by His Spirit to fulfill your mission.
