Forgotten peach in the back of the refrigerator
For many, Christianity has become the grinding out of general doctrinal laws from collections of biblical facts. But childlike wonder and awe have died. The scenery and poetry and music of the majesty of God have dried up like a forgotten peach at the back of the refrigerator.

That usually happens just before we start disobeying the command in Hebrews chapter 10 that goes like this... Heb. 10:24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. Heb. 10:25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
