Update Jan. 2023

All Day

February 2023

Greetings from the Philippines in the Mindanao Island.

I was watching my recorded video teaching for our TV Program, an hour ago. I am appalled at my own looks: Like a scare crew on the TV screen. When I passed by the glass wall of the studio am scared even to glance at my figure. But am still very much alive and still can preach/teach twice a day.

While recording last night, I have to stop several times to wiped away the fresh blood coming of my nose involuntarily. This is an almost daily occurrence in spite of the positive lab and CT scan results of late. The physical weakness tempted me many times to gave up and just "wait" for... But the fire inside me cannot be quenced by any physical illness. I am not done yet. There's still so many things to do for The Name!

May I please ask for your prayerful consideration, again? About 40 pastors and church leaders will be graduating in our mobile school, not to mention seminary students. As tools for their ministerial use, we wanted to put into their individual hands a NASV ZODIATES KEY WORD BIBLE ( with Greek and Hebrew), a McArthur Study Bible, and a Bible Dictionary. Many times these tools will be the only ones to comprise their Pastor's library. If there are other good books you can share please do so with much gratitude from the Sola Gratia family.

Will this might be my last appeal? I don't believe so. No! The Lord will keep me to finish what He would like me to do. And with our partnership in the gospel, God's work cannot be hindered even when Am already out of the "game".

Thanks my beloved brothers for your continual support and the unending prayers on my behalf.

In His service,

 Pastor Nilo Sanchez

January 2023

Beloved brethren,

We have been traveling to and fro Davao City the past week for my lab tests, ct scans, colonoscopy, etc. I became weak as all the procedures required an empty and cleansed stomach. I have to drink laxatives to attain it and much liquid intake. (Kemuel and his wife Mariel did the driving for me and Fely. Kemuel has differed in renewing his contract with the Department of Health to serve me.)

Yesterday, Kem and I drove again the 6 hours drive to pick up my test results. My Oncologist was rejoicing with us to see from the results of the CT SCAN: Cancer cells/nodules have shrunken and stopped spreading in my system. My colon is pretty normal together with my kidneys and another internal organ. The bilirubin enzyme from the liver though is beyond normal. Other than that the diagnosis is positively the answer to prayers of the saints on my behalf.

The oral treatment will continue with the addition of new meds for my liver. When I asked if I will be out of cancer issues soon, Dr. Lui looked at me and pronounced "no". Once you have it, you can not run away from it. But it becomes highly manageable, though expensively.

The lease of life to me is not to be left wasted. O the work that needs to be done by His enabling strength and gracious acts. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!

Am still busy teaching on line every Saturday. Am on local TV Monday to Friday (1hr/day). Preaching Sunday services... until I will breath my last. May Christ's glory be made known to many...

Once again I bow my knee to God alone who sustained me this far. Grateful to you all for continued support and many prayers on my behalf and so with my family.

In His service,

 Pastor Nilo Sanchez
